"It all started on a farm in Pennsylvania. They were growing, for as far as I could see, thousands of these funny shaped
things. They were all shapes and sizes. Gourds, what curious things! Do
you eat them? No, I was told. Then what on earth are they here for, I
thought? Not much, really. But as I looked closer, things started to
happen. One looked like a bird, another, like a tree. A moon, a little
man, my imagination went crazy...and this was the beginning of WILLOW ART.
I purchased several on that trip, brought them home and the carving began".
